The 13th Annual Step Up To Life (SUTL) Banquet on Friday, September 21, at the Embassy Suites Ballroom in LaVista, was a night to join in the Indiana Murdoch "Quest for Lost Souls"
Using the Movie theme from the academy award-winning films for Indiana Jones, nearly 600 people enjoyed a fabulous dinner, powerful testimonies and camaraderie of good friends.
Lincoln Murdoch (Indiana Murdoch) and Ty Schenzel (Undie Jones) hosted the event in their familiar comedic style with Pastor Murdoch (Dr. Henry Jones) covering the high points on the ministry reports.
Nancy Murdoch (Indiana Joanie) was honored for her years of support and encouragement by Pastor Murdoch early on in the program.
March of the Nations displayed all the nations where Step Up To Life tracts have gone in the various languages.
Stan Parker, of Husker Football fame, Dan Carl with a missionary heart for Haiti and Don Stein, sports ministry, all gave inspirational testimonies.
A special thanks to Rick Waymire and his free distribution of audio CD's of Pastor Murdoch sermons to anyone who wanted them.
We thank all the sponsors and the dedicated SUTL volunteer staff for making the banquet a success again this year.
